The underwater photography workshop, organised by Jane & JP
was highly successful. Staying at the Coral Hilton enabled unlimited
access to the very rich house reef. Being able to dive the same
area over and over again is often the key to successful underwater
photography.
All week, the participants honed their macro and wide-angle skills.
Day dives were followed by talks and Photoshop sessions. Towards
the end of the week, 2 very fruitful night dives were organised
where a number of guitar sharks were spotted.
The northern Red Sea is too often overlooked by photographers,
but an encounter with a mimic octopus proved that the area has
a great potential as a muck-diving destination.
Here is a sample of pictures taken by the participants.
