Ellaidhoo Chaaya Reef Resort
The island is 300 metres long and 280 metres wide, and is covered by thick tropical vegetation. The magnificent house reef just 20 metres away from the beach surrounding the island, is the hallmark of the resort. To the south of the island there is a vertical drop-off up to 25 metres with caves at three different levels starting from 6 metres . There is also a small wreck providing shelter for all kinds of small and large fish. Tourists from resort islands as far as North Male' Atoll visit on diving excursions to see the spectacular house reef of Ellaidhoo.
Unusually for a small island, just 112 rooms, Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo has a good selection of accommodation all air-conditioned and furnished with a double bed or twin beds, mini bar (separate charge), tea & coffee making facilities, satellite TV and IDD Telephone . En suite bathrooms include hot & cold water shower, bath amenities including beach towels, bath towels and hair dryers.
Accommodation
Standard Bungalow
The 14 semi-detached standard bungalows are located just behind the
Beach Bungalows. These rooms open out to the garden area with lush
palm trees and sand footpaths leading the way to the beach.
Standard Bungalows can accommodate 2 adults plus an infant.
Superior Rooms
The 28 Superior Rooms are all orientated to face out towards the
Indian Ocean. In groups of four rooms with two rooms on each floor,
they are the ideal choice for families, groups might also like being
located close to each other.

Beach Bungalows
There are 46 separate single storey Beach Bungalows each with a
terrace and views out to the lagoon & ocean beyond. Air-conditioned
the bungalows are comfortably furnished with double beds, a day
bed and loungers on the terrace.
Beach Bungalows accommodate 2 adults plus 1 children or infant.
Water Bungalows
The 24 semi-detached Water Bungalows are new additions to Ellaidhoo
built on stilts over the water. High roofs add to the feeling of
space as do the decks beyond the large sliding windows. In the bathroom
there is a bathtub in addition to the shower.
Water Bungalows accommodate 2 adults.
Restaurants
In addition to the main restaurant at the Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo there is a small seafood restaurant and a couple of bars, one by the pool. There also is a small coffee shop alongside the Iruohsnee Bar and soon to be a small lunch bar at the dive centre for that between dive 'snacket'. Dive Inclusive holidays include breakfast & dinner in your holiday price, it's possible to pre-book lunch, for a supplement, or opt for All Inclusive

Diving
Situated just inside the atoll Ellaidhoo island is fringed by one
of the best house reefs in the Maldives. Accessible from five entry
points it offers shore diving at your own pace. Several different
daily boat dives are available, with the normal single tank dives
departing Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo both morning and afternoon. There
are also special 2-tank dives (normally in the morning) and full
day trips plus regular night dives through the week. Boats visit
many of northern Ari Atoll's excellent dive sites including big
names such as Maya Thila & Fish Head.
